Lilitha's Bio:
Lilitha Govindasamy is a 30 year old wonder woman from Ipoh Perak. She is the second child among 3 siblings and the naugtiest too. Born in a very moderate family,her father Govindasamy as the sole bread winner worked as a grass cutter and mother Radah as a housewife whom gives importance to education as they belief only education can change their fate. Lilitha been not only a dreamer but a doer as well,she forced her poor parents to send her to the most expensive private university in Malaysia after being brainwashed by an education counselor in Ipoh. Funded by her god grandmother Madam Goh on 24th March 2008 Lilitha left KL to further her studies at Taylors University College to pursue Foundation in Communication thereafter Bachelors of Arts in Communication and Media. Late 2011, she quit her final year of degree as she was going through depression caused by her abusive boyfriend. As she was embarrassed and that she has disappointed and shattered her poor family's hope and dream,she then took a challenge to stay back in KL.To make back whatever promised for them and to make her parents proud of her.
She then started working at the age of 21 with the support of her family and close friends as a virtual relationship manager in Standard Chartered Bank and then moved to Alliance Bank as a relationship manager in the branch. After banking industry,she was invited by her father's friend to Lincoln University to head the sales team there.A new industry and she enjoyed the job as she was a not only a manager whom manages and train her down lines but at the same time she traveled the whole of Malaysia to counsel and guide students on a good career pathway.
Looking at the bright side of the industry,she then left Lincoln and started her own agency,LG Consultancy Academy.
She became her own boss at the age of 24. She also started LG Designs,a textile based import export business on the same year as she was passionate about fashion and styles and that she saw an opportunity of making good income through it. Within a month, LG Designs has got very good sales,she then spotted by a columnist from Malay Mail Miss Rebecca and that is the moment Lilitha's journey as an influencer also started thanks to Malay Mail whom published an article on her. Years passed by,after her father's dismissal on 2016,she ventured into a F&B outlet in Ipoh and the business was closed within months.Then she came back to KL and started back with her corporate job with both LG Consultancy Academy and LG Designs running on side till date.
Back in 2018,by invitation Lilitha joined a political party,PKR under the Pakatan Harapan coalition.She is currently a national youth wing leader,as the deputy communication director.Lilitha is also the Visitor Board Member of Ampang Hospital. Late 2019 she was certified as a HRDF Trainer.
As her vision is always to develop leaders of tomorrow, she started her own National NGO, YouthWave Malaysia which was registered on 11th April 2020. Till date,she has 23 members from all 14 states in Malaysia and has assisted more than 120 families individually and 130 families with her NGO in providing groceries and necessities for families in need during this Covid lockdown. Her only aim,she wishes to develop more youths to be bold and innovative so that they can uplift a better country and society. Connect with Lilitha:
